Sell Gold With Tesco Gold Exchange
Even though times are tough at the moment in the economy, the price of gold has been soaring and has been reaching record highs. So if you have some unwanted jewellery lying around, now really is the time to sell it!
There are so many cash for gold companies around on the internet as well as high street shops that will buy your unwanted gold so where do you start?? Having a browse on the internet last weekend I discovered that Tesco also has its own gold exchange website and pays substantially higher than other gold brokers. Tesco is a brand that we all know and trust (definitely is my no.1 choice for groceries!) so I was happy to trade in an unwanted necklace that had been sitting in my drawer for the past 10 years for £130 PLUS 130 Tesco clubcard points! Tesco gives 1 point for every £1 in value so it’s a great way to rack up some extra points to save up for that clubcard reward.
Selling gold on the Tesco gold exchange website is really easy, you just have to fill in your details on their website so that they can send you a pack for you to send your gold to them in. Then once you post the gold to them, Tesco will contact you with an offer price and bank the money into your bank account if you accept it. Tesco is currently offering £10.75 per 9 carat gram of gold compared to £7.81 per gram earlier this year so now could be a good time to sell or you could try waiting for a little while to see if the price rises even more. Tesco will buy all sorts of gold jewellery whether broken or old so start routing around for those odd gold earrings or broken watches!
