If you’ve been following my blog you will probably have heard me mention the Japan Centre in Piccadilly before. The Japan Centre is a Japanese supermarket, one of the biggest in London, which sells a good range of Japanese products including fresh, dried and frozen goods, kitchenware and even magazines and books. They stock freshly made sushi and bakery items and sweets made daily, a huge variety of sauces, stocks and seasoning for all your Japanese cooking needs, fresh vegetables, tofu, Japanese tea, drinks, snacks, dried products and much more! The Japan Centre used to be situated on Piccadilly but has since moved to the nearby Regent Street. For information on the Japan Centre you can visit the Japan Centre website. They even have an online shop which delivers to the UK and internationally!

A great place to grab some mouthwateringly delicious and authentic Thai food is in one of the many branches of Busaba Eathai restaurant. Busaba Eathai is the brainchild of Alan Yau, owner of several prestigious restaurants in London including the Michelin starred Hakkasan and Yauatcha. It started off as a single restaurant in Soho with long queues stretching outside but there are now several branches around London.

Busaba Eathai serves Thai salads, noodles, curries and stir-fries with vibrant flavours that will leave you craving for more as well as an extensive selection of Asian inspired juices and smoothies to complement your meal. My personal recommendations would be the Green Chicken Curry and Sen Chan Pad Thai which is rice noodles fried with prawn, peanut, egg, green mango and crabmeat. Absolutely yummy!

Busaba Eathai is a casual dining venue where you have to share tables but prices are cheap and the food is served up within minutes so it is a great place to grab a quick meal with minimum fuss. For more information you can visit the Busaba Eathai website.
