Back From Japan :-(
Well I’m back from Tokyo and still a bit jet lagged but I did promise that I would update you with my holiday. This was the 2nd time I had been to Tokyo and I was accompanying my boyfriend on a work trip so as I’d seen most of the sights already, I mostly spent my time shopping, eating and relaxing in the hotel spa! We were lucky to have been staying in a suite at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi with a great view overlooking the city and a few shopping centres nearby. It was also a great location for getting to several main shopping areas including Shinjuku, Shubuya, Ikebukero and Ginza. As you may already know, I am absolutely obsessed with green tea food so I took a few photos below of what I managed to find in Tokyo!
Green Tea Bun With Redbean
Green Tea Cream Puff
Green Tea Eclair
Green Tea Flavoured Sweet Made From Beans
Green Tea Snow Ice With Red Bean and Rice Cake
Green Tea Jam, Biscuit and Madelines
Green Tea Truffles

Green tea foods suit my taste too. As the mooncake festival is coming, guess what? I have chosen mostly the green tea flavor mooncake. I think that is more delicious compare with lotus flavour mooncake. Furthermore, it’s healthier choice.. Not bad!
I am a big fan of Japanese food. Overall, it is generally healthy, and surprisingly tasty. However, if I was ever to plan a trip to Japan, it would be for the skiing, not the food
I was in Tokyo in October of 2007. Cant wait to go back. I used to live there and I miss it. Roppongi has so totally changed in the last 5 years.
I’m sure it all tastes great but I just don’t think food should be green unless it’s a vegetable
