Detox With Green Tea
As it’s the start of a new year I’ve been doing all the usual things such as eating more healthily, trying to stick to my New Year’s resolutions and I even joined a gym and am now completely hooked on Les Mills Body Attack classes!
One thing that I’ve also been doing and hope to continue (fingers crossed) is replacing all coffee breaks and my daily English breakfast tea with green tea. Green tea is great for detoxing and has more antioxidants than black teas so is great for removing toxins from the body whilst protecting the immune system and preventing disease. It also helps reduce bad cholesterol present in the body and boosts your metabolism therefore aiding in weight loss!
There are many different types of green tea both pure and flavoured with Japanese matcha green tea being the healthiest. Matcha is a powdered green tea made from ground tea leaves that delivers even more health benefits than brewed tea since you are consuming the nutritional benefit of the entire leaf. It has been shown to even delay premature aging!
Green tea is delicious and refreshing and if you haven’t tried it before you can get 2 free samples from Twinings and try Twinings new green teas. They also have an online tea shop so that you can buy green tea online!

Great post on Green Tea.
I bought some yesterday for the first time but haven’t plucked up the courage to try it yet!! I cannot start my day without a cup of normal tea and am just about to embark on a weight loss journey in readiness for a foreign holiday in June, so the thought of NO normal tea replacing it with Green Tea is a difficult one!!
I must just bite the bullet
Thanks for the informative post

Sounds like a good plan if you can stomach it. So far I have managed to replace my morning coffee with an earl grey, but i don’t think i could go any further than that!
Great post on Green Tea.
It would take some getting used to, to drink green tea on a regular basis, but it can be done. Maybe I’ll start and gradually work up to drinking it more often.
Thanks for giving this healthy tip and i will try to avoid normal tea and make habbit to drink green tea for my health today onwards
Nice post.Thank you for taking the time to publish this information very useful! I’ve been looking for books of this nature for a way too long. I’m just glad that I found yours. Looking forward for your next post. Thanks
I always drink green tea, and I can tell you that my mind and body are still in good condition despite my age.
green tea ist good for health, we need more of them
especially when we are working~~
Has anybody tried BioCleanse and Daily Detox or any type of detox pills in combination with green tea? I am just curious if there would be a problem with having TO much detox going on? I know the BioCleanse has a high amount of fiber which is suppose to be good right? But can you go overboard?
Thank you for this post. Green tee is always good to drink at work when you have to solve complex problems
