Green Tea Mousse Pocky

Posted on July 27th, 2007 in Green Tea London by Stephanie

A favourite green tea snack of mine that can be bought in the Japan Centre supermarket in Piccadilly (212 Piccadilly, London, W1J 9HX) is Green Tea Mousse Pocky.  Green Tea Mousse Pocky is basically a plain biscuit stick covered with a green tea chocolate-like substance (which doesn’t really resemble mousse).  The green tea chocolate has a strong milky green tea flavour but with the bitter aftertaste that I like from green tea foods.  I would definately recommend trying it!

I can’t stand anything green tea flavoured. We have green tea toothpaste over here in Thailand. Makes me want to throw up.

Yeah that does sound a bit gross. But interesting to know that they have that, never come across it before.

I typically like Pocky, but this particular flavor pushes the envelope a bit. I’m sure it’s good, but the whole idea of Green Tea Mousse makes me a bit hesitant. if I’m feeling adventurous one day and I can find an Asian food center, I’ll definitely check it out.

I just had this for the first time today. I have to say… It is quite delicious. I would recommend it to all that like green tea!
