Hare And Tortoise Restaurant

Posted on September 15th, 2011 in Mission - Japanese Restaurants by Stephanie

Although not entirely a Japanese restaurant, the bulk of the menu is hearty Japanese food at great value for money plus Malaysian dishes such as the ever popular Curry Laksa and Char Kway Teow. Hare and Tortoise has a huge menu including everday Japanese cuisine such as donburi rice bowls, ramen noodles, sushi, sashimi, tempura and plenty of appetisers, sides and desserts. The food is good quality, fresh authentic food and the service is efficient however a little on the cold side. But at less than £10 on average per meal for a big portion of great Japanese food, who can complain.

The Ealing branch of the restaurant being my local branch is the one that I frequent but there are also branches in Putney, Bloomsbury, Kensington and Blackfriars. The Ealing branch, recently refurbished and expanded, has a simple and modern design, great place to grab a meal with friends. For more information on Hare and Tortoise, visit their website HERE.
