Mission: Japanese Restaurants in London
As you may have read in my about me page I am a self-confessed Japanese food addict or Japanese foodie :-) Call me what you like but I absolutely love Japanese food, from sushi and sashimi to okonomiyaki and teppan-yaki! I have decided to go on a mission to eat in all the Japanese restaurants in London, every last one of them! Mad as you may think I am considering that there are around 400 Japanese restaurants in London, not to mention the great expense that I am going to incur, but I will be documenting my pursuit and reviewing each restaurant in this blog. This will hopefully also be useful for those who are visiting or who don’t necessarily want to visit every Japanese restaurant in London… 
When I have visited a restaurant I will add a link to it below and hopefully build the list into a directory of Japanese restaurants in London.

I’ve only been to Donzoko on that list but have been there many times and can highly recommend it.

I can really recommend Asakusa at Mornington Crescent but you often have to book in advance as it gets really busy. Lots of Japanese friends I know go there which is a good sign. Food ranges from sushi to shogayaki, tempura etc. An absolute must to try is the maguro nutta. Simply gorgeous. It’s also not so expensive - we generally stuff our faces for around £15-£20 each!
This isn’t Japanese, but you should try a restaurant called ‘Ping Pong.’
They specialise in Dim Sum and so far the best oriental food I’ve tasted so far.
They have branches all over London, but the best one in terms of service is the Appold St branch, near Liverpool St Station.

I do like Japanese food. Its such a beauty to eat and its not to expensive. Me and my friends go to this nice little place on LaTrobe Street, Melbourne and they have the authentic look and tables which just make it special.
One of the best ones is the Tsunami in Clapham!Try the black cod.
