the reason why most of the restaurants around London are expensive is because of the high demand that it is nurturing in the culinary world.

I lived in the International Students House (ISH) in London. It’s a great, centralized location, and has very reasonable prices for students and non-students. Give them a call to see if they have any openings. It certainly will not be a hotel, as it does not have an attached bath, but it beats a hostel and the location cannot be beat. Thanks

The ‘Which’ ‘Good food Guide’ is very good. Covers the whole of the UK and some countries abroad as well. Very comprehensive and rates the establishment on cooking and accurately describes the ‘ambiance’ Got the guide as a present so not sure if its online.thanks

Wish I knew about this guide last year when I visited London. Better late than never I always say. In this case it will serve me next summer when I plan a new European trip that most likely will include the British capital
