Watch Your Favourite Television Shows As Part Of The Audience! For Free!

Posted on January 17th, 2008 in Cheap Days Out In London,Freebies by Stephanie

If you’re feeling a bit broke then why not get up close and personal with the stars and see a television show as part of the audience.  It is completely free and you will get to see what really goes on behind the scenes as well.  Tickets can be booked at Applause Store and you can reserve as many as you want but it is first come first served so make sure you book your tickets early.  Applause Store always have a good line up of shows such as “The Brit Awards”, “Big Brother”, “X-Factor” and many more and you sometimes even get free nibbles before the show!  I went to see “Fight Box” a couple of years ago which was a game show on BBC2 presented by Trevor Nielson and I managed to get his autograph (not that I’m a fan but thought it may come in useful for selling on ebay one day :-) ) Applause Store is currently only for UK residents (mostly in London studios) but I believe they will be launching a US site soon.

The same works in LA and NY here in the states, but the lines to get in are usually horribly long. Is it the same in London – large lines?

Great suggestion! I’ve done this in NY City and it was a very fun experience.

its an interesting exercise but takes a lot of time and hard work out of u. besides u need to be able to get the call from the show organisers.

Well we’re watching that on tv, do we have to suffer with it live too ? :)
Great resource to be honest, many people would want that.

I am a Big Brother fanatic. Here in the Philippines we have also that kind of show powered by endemol. This show is very funny and enjoyable. I love it!!!

I think Big Brother give an opportunity to Shilpa Sheety again, otherwise she was nowhere in Bollywood before that. and now she has lot of movies again in her hand.

Great idea – there are quite a few organisations that do free tickets forTV/Radio recordings. Have a search for “TV audience tickets” on google and they’ll pop up.
